Full Term!

37 Weeks! Madeline is officially full term! Though I would love for her to make her way to the exit we did find out at our last appointment that she decided not to turn and is still bum down. So we are scheduled for May 1st at 7:15 a.m. to meet her via C-Section.

36 Weeks & Bottoms Down??

My 36 week Belly Pic, It WAS the T-Shirt that I was wearing last week that made me seem so rotund! Well.. I am round, but that shirt makes me look way bigger than I am!

I haven't wanted to blog about it because I was afraid I would "jinx" my chances of having a "normal" birth, but It has been weighing heavily on my mind, so I need to get it out in the world and off my shoulders. On Friday we found out that Madeline is in the Frank Breech position with her little bottom resting nicely in my pelvis, If she does not turn by this Friday my options are to go through External Cephalic Version(turning the baby from the outside, which can be risky and painful)or to schedule a C-section for 39 weeks. After discussing it with Brian we have decided that we will go for the second option. As disapointed as I am that I will not have a standard labor experience it's actually a blessing in disguise. Work will pay me for a full 12 weeks rather than the 6 weeks paid and 6 weeks unpaid that I would have taken otherwise. Everything is in God's will and if this is the way it is to be done then I accept it! At least we can plan, right?

Babies Need Pants!

Brian and I spent the day organizing the gifts we received at the showers and shopping for additional essentials that we didn't receive. We were at the mall and I saw pant sets that matched some onesies that we received, but I wasn't sure what size the onesies were so I decided to go home and look before I bought them. So after we got home from shopping and checked the sizes I had an overwhelming compulsion to go back to the mall and buy the pants right that second. I don't know what came over me! Brian was laughing at me because when he asked why I had to get the pants today, (at that very second) I replied "I don't know, I just have to make sure she has pants!" Needless to say we did end up making a second trip to the mall, you can't ignore a crazy pregnant lady!

Another Baby Shower!

Wow... all I can really say is that Brian & I really are incredibly blessed with all the great people that are in our life. We had another Baby Shower today with my side of the family.. and Madeline made out like a bandit! My Aunt's, my Mom, and my Sister did such a wonderful job with everything! She now officially has a wardrobe that other babies will definitely be envious of! We also got a lot of essentials to round out her stash! I didn't take any pictures on my camera but as soon as I get a few from the others I will post!

Madeline's Room

We thought we would post the pictures of Madeline's room. Brian finished up the new shelves today and painted the wicker baskets that we will use for toy storage. I organized her outfits by size. I'm wondering if this is the start of the "nesting phase"?

Her Crib... Love the Lady Bugs! Take special note of the Crown Moulding that Brian installed. He is so proud of it! :) He did a good job didn't he?

The letters for her name was my "crafty" project for her room.

One chair.. waiting to rock one baby to sleep.

The new shelves in the closet. Obviously I still have some more organizing to do!Plus a whole lot of washing!

Me.. looking way rounder than last week. I swear it's the T-shirt I am wearing!

So almost everything is ready to go, just missing one very soft and sweet smelling baby!

35/35!

Today I am 35 weeks with 35 days to go until my offical due date. yea!

2 more weeks until she is full term and then it is off to Buffalo Wild Wings to eat their Blazin' wings.
