Maddie's 1st Christmas was wonderful. We had such a great time hanging out with Grandmas Christy and spending time with our family.

Santa was so good to us this year!

Maddie is the proud owner of 2 teeth! Her second one popped up on December 16th! Within 3 days of her first! Hooray! She really chomps on her puffs now!

All I want for Christmas... Is My Two Bottom Teeth

Maddie got her Christmas wish early! She woke up today (after two nights of pure unadulterated terror) and her first bottom tooth was peaking through!(pictures pending) Maybe Santa will give Maddie her second bottom tooth soon!

Over the Table and Thru the Kitchen

Maddie has begun to pull herself up on the bottom of our side tables.

Here she is after crawling thru the table and into the dog bed.

She also has used the dishwasher as leverage for her new found skill.

Dear Santa...

Maddi got to meet Santa for the first time this weekend!
Waiting to meet him....

Maddie meets Logan!

Maddie wanting to try BBQ sauce for the first time..

Daddy decided that Maddie will have to wait a little longer for that!

Grandma Anita also bought Maddie her first Christmas hat! Christmas hats are a must have around our family!

Showing off Her Sweet Skills

Maddie has some pretty sweet skills..

This past week (I'm late on posting) Maddi has begun to wave hello. Why hello? Well I think that is because we always say "hello" when we wave to her. I wonder why that is? Maybe we will start saying "bye bye" and see if we get the same result.

Here is Maddie singing...well speaking in babble really. I think she does it in sing-song because we sing to her all of the time.

I'm convinced Maddie will crack a tooth soon!

7 Months!

A few days late...

Maddie no longer has the bumper or mobile in her crib. It makes for a pretty plain room, however, it is a lot safer. Maddie being the explorer that she is was trying to haul herself over the side of crib using the bumper as leverage. She was also grabbing the ladybugs on the mobile even though we lowered the mattress. Crazy as it sounds but she was up on her knees grabbing for those things. It really blows my mind that babies are that smart!

Oh my goodness... I can't not believe time has passed so fast!

Baptism Day

Madeline was Baptised today. It was a very special day for us; 15 months ago we were married in the same church.

I was very surprised that she didn't cry, rather she was very happy and talked and laughed the whole time. She never really ceases to amaze me!

During the service, it looks like she is praying in this pic! Mama has a new thing for headbands, Maddie doesn't pull them off so I am guessing that she likes them too!

After the first blessing. Maddie was talking to the Deacons the whole time!

Happy Thanksgiving!

What a wonderdul way to spend this glorious day! We have a feast prepared and will be in the company of our wonderful family. I am thankful for so many things in my life, I am seriously so blessed. We snapped some fantastic photos of Madeline today.

She is what I am most thankful for this year!

Maddie Has Places to Go!

WOW! We thought that we would have more time before we had a full blown crawler on our hands! Maddie surprised us and figured out her hand and knee coordination and has taken off! She has been crawling all over the place, she surprised us with her sweet crawling skills for the first time on Grandma Anita's birthday! Of course she has been getting herself into even more funny (and sometimes scary) situations.

Here is the little traveler checking out Winston and Maggie's bed.

Unfortunately, Madeline no longer has a use for her Bumbo. I hoped she would use it longer (since she still is not sitting up on her own) but right after I snapped this shot she was reaching for a toy on the ground and bonked her poor little noggin! I felt awful.. so that is going into storage!

Trying to crawl into the dog bed again!

Our house is begining to resemble a toy store... and with Christmas coming up it is only going to get worse! I think Brian agrees that her toys are the best kind of mess... at least for now!
