Maddie and Cousin Ayden

Madeline met her cousin Ayden when we were back in July '09, but she was much too little to play! She had fun playing with her cousin and can't wait to see him this summer when she will be bigger and can play even more!

Rest and Relaxation

It was nice to not have a single thing to do but look out the window, watch Maddie play, eat great food, and wath the Olympics!

It was cold and rainy/snowy for most of our trip but it really didn't hamper our fun at all.

It is getting harder and harder to take good pictures of Maddie. She is constantly on the move!

Happy Valentine's Day!

We had a great Valentine's Day at the Lake. I got a beautiful necklace from Brian and we had a great dinner that Grandpa Jack made! Maddie really likes Shrimp Etouffe! I didn't get as many pictures as I wanted because the camera I took kept messing up. Oh well, more pictures next time!



The cove was frozen.. but I still love it. Even if I am only looking at it from inside!

A Letter to Madeline

Today you are 9 Months old. It is hard for me to contemplate that you have now been part of our life for a longer time period then I was pregnant with you!

Everytime we see you smile we smile. Everytime you laugh we laugh. Our life has become so much more complete since you became part of it.

You bring so much joy to us everyday and it has been amazing watching you grow.

We love you Madeline!

9 Months!

It was a big day to celebrate for Madeline. Not only did she hit the big 0-9 but she also got to try bananas. REAL bananas not the mushed up baby food kind! She really liked it. Though it worked out better if I put the pieces in her mouth so she could chomp on them. Otherwise, she just pulverized them in her little palm!

I'm really glad that I stopped being such a worry-wort and decided to let her try big girl foods. I know it has been long overdue since she has been trying to bite her spoon for the past few weeks. Leave it to me to worry about stuff like that!

Weekend With Grandma
