Pain in the Back

Oh my goodness... nothing much happened last week besides my debilitating back aches I have been suffering from. On Friday night I had a shooting pain up my back that kept me from being able to walk or even move. Brian has been a wonderful husband and has been giving me wonderful back massages. I'm sure it's the pressure of baby sitting on a nerve in my back... it scares me to think how much worse it's going to get over the next 3 months since she is getting bigger every day!

I Can Relate

I found this on one of the pregnancy boards I belong to. It's too funny because it is exactly how I feel right now! Though the woman that made this is due the day after me at least I know there is another person out there feeling my pain!

*yawn*

I'm so tired. I know this is a common side effect of pregnancy but darnit.. it's so hard to get up and do anything today. Today is one of my Friday's off and so far I have only manged to move from one room to another and put one load of laundry in. This suits Maggie and Winston just fine as they like it better if I stay in one place so they arn't moving around following me all day! I guess I feel like I should be super-woman and be cleaning all of the time or something. I wonder if I'm going to gain some energy before baby comes!?!?!?

Granny Panties

I have always taken pride in my colorful and cute "undie" collection, though I have never been one to wear anything that would make anyone blush I do thoroughly enjoy pretty under things. However, this weekend that has changed. Due to my expanding baby belly I had to buy what I would consider "Granny Panties". Brian laughed at me when I was in the middle of the store clearly conflicted regarding what size to buy. I laughed at myself today when I took a glance in the mirror and saw the amount of fabric that was covering my rear-end. I would have to say that my bum has not been this covered up in at least 10 years. All for the greater good of our little one though.

Ninja Baby

Our wee little one's kicks are getting stronger by the day. I felt her first "real movement" on December 23rd, which coincidentally was the day we found out we are being blessed with a little girl. In the past few weeks since it feels like she is practicing some serious martial art moves in there. Every time I feel her do a karate kick I giggle. I can't wait to meet our little "Ninja Baby"!

Here it goes..

Brian and has been telling me that I need to start blogging so our dear friends and family out of state can keep up with our crazy life from afar. I secretly think he wants me to start the blog because I have been annoying the crap out of him with my "Honey Do" lists and he just wants me to focus my nervous energy elsewhere. Albeit.. I think a blog is a wonderful idea. So today I enter the exciting world of blogging, yea!

Life over the past few months has been hectic to say the least. We returned from our honeymoon on August 18th.... and found out we were pregnant about 10 days after that. We are overjoyed with the news that we are starting our family. Pregnancy has been an adventure as I watch my body change, and my moods swing drastically from one moment to the next. I know that being parents is going to be the best adventure that we have ever had.
