Madeline's Room

We thought we would post the pictures of Madeline's room. Brian finished up the new shelves today and painted the wicker baskets that we will use for toy storage. I organized her outfits by size. I'm wondering if this is the start of the "nesting phase"?

Her Crib... Love the Lady Bugs! Take special note of the Crown Moulding that Brian installed. He is so proud of it! :) He did a good job didn't he?


The letters for her name was my "crafty" project for her room.

So almost everything is ready to go, just missing one very soft and sweet smelling baby!

35/35!

Today I am 35 weeks with 35 days to go until my offical due date. yea!

2 more weeks until she is full term and then it is off to Buffalo Wild Wings to eat their Blazin' wings.

34 Weeks!

Brian has "Pregnancy Brain" Too!

My wonderful husband packed my lunch for me this morning, bless his heart. He must have been really tired though! When I got to work I took the Tupperware container out of my backpack and noticed that he had left out the "lunch" part of my lunch and just given me a container of salsa that I made last week. It was an easy mix-up though, it just so happened to be in a identical container to our leftover chicken curry (a clear container mind you)! Now he is meeting me at my office to go out to lunch!

Why I can't breathe...

I'm carrying around a honeydew melon in my belly.. which has taken up residence in my ribs!

Missouri Baby Shower!

We had the second Baby Shower today in Missouri with Brian's family. It was generously hosted by Brian's mom Christy and it couldn't have been more perfect! We ate lots of great food and Madeline got a TON of great presents! She really will be such a well dressed baby! (Well at least for the first three months!) We also got a lot of the big items that we registered for (Thank You Grandma Christy!) and they will be waiting for us when we get back to Colorado. Everything really sank in today, I mean I know that I can feel a baby moving around inside my belly but having other people celebrate that with me really made it more real. Thank you again to everyone!

32 Weeks & Our New Floors!

The best husband in the world (who I happen to be married to) installed our new floors this week! I have to say they look wonderful! Good job hubby! Of course we had to move the location of the belly pictures from the stairs to the living room. The pugs are going crazy with out the carpet for some reason...they keep wandering around like they are looking for something! Brian hates the picture of him because he said he looks chubby. I think he is just trying to make me feel better about my own expanding waistline by adding to his too! lol.

Why I love Spring...

Three words, Cadbury Mini Eggs. I don't know why but Easter candy is so much better than any other candy from any other holiday. I'm not just saying this because I'm pregnant either!

31 Weeks!

Ha! I love it.. you can see the stain on my shirt in the pic where I wiped my mascara off my face. I'm an emotional basketcase right now and cried when I found out that our Childbirth Preparation classes started last night (we showed up to the hospital tonight).
